LET FREEDOM RING!  The Librrty Bell an enduring symbol if our 250 years of freedom.  The original bell cracked during its very first test ring in 1752. It was recast by local craftsmen John Pass and John Stow, but the infamous crack gradually worsened and was permanently silenced in the 1840s.
